Arancia Balcanika born on 2004 by musicians active from long time in the musical and the theatrical sceene and joined by the common interest for the folk and popular music, particurarly on balcanic music (as with bads like Orchestra Bailam, Argilla, BandaBandiani…) and also rock-jazz

In few time they are invited on folk and busker's festivals (Circumnavigando, Buskernight, Ratatlaplan…)

Rhe intention of the band if to join folk music anf rock-jazz respecting the trandition of the east europe countries, giving also space to the improvvisation (more tipical of the moder european music) and playing many differnt kind of music.

The repertopty includes songs yiddish, from Romania or Jugoslavia, Greece, Bulgary , etc and the result is a show with big impact that lead to the dance in an involving and happy way.

THe band, where is required, can play also an acoustic version of the show.

The band plays original composition and traditional songs, lending distinctive attention  to the popular songs of north Italy, and without discontinuing the musical cultures that bias the Mediterraneo sea. During the show you will listen interpretations and passages from different cultures (as Balcanic, South Italian, Celtic and French)  and also original songs  that draw inspiration from  waltz, tangos, cinema jingles, jazz, rock,  arranged and performed with the breezy spirit characteristic of the exhibitions  on the street, creating for a booming dragging and amusing show.
