The Trio, composed by Marco Di Maggio (Acoustic Guitar/Vocals), Matteo Giannetti (Double Bass), Marco Barsanti (Drums), is the unplugged version of the well known Marco Di Maggio Trio, recognized as one of top world’s Rockabilly combo.

With this project, started during 2002, Marco shows his ability in Country/Jazz pickin’, his great guitar talent and a rare capacity in the arrangement field, perhaps demonstrated also with his Supersonic Orchestra and with 6 cd’s, 1 Video and several tours in Usa and Europe.

The repertoire, based on Rockabilly songs (many originals, self-penned) with a Country/Jazz feel, ranges from manic instrumentals in Bluegrass style, to smooth ballads where he shows how combines all the ‘40 and ‘50 music styles.

To say it in few words, during their shows you can hear a great mix of Bluegrass, Flat and Finger Picking, Country, Western Swing, Blues and Rockabilly in one shot.

The sound of the band is enriched by the smooth sound of the drummer Marco Barsanti, who’s use almost just the brushes, and by the expert touch of the bassist Matteo Giannetti.
