The band was born in '97 thanks to the great love for hillbilly
music of their originals members: Marco Di Maggio, Massimo Di
Maggio and Sasso Battaglia.
All these three cats, expert musicians, know how to shake that shack so, after some hot gigs around Italy, they decided to record an album.
During the recording sessions, Marco Di Maggio send a demo to Bob Timmers (President of The Rockabilly Hall Of Fame).
After listen it, he called Marco offering to produce the album: Rockabilly From The Boots Up came out during the summer '98, receiving great reviews from the international press.
They appeared in many world's rockabilly compilations as Cash On Delivery with top american country stars, Kings Of Rockabilly Guitar and performing at top meetings all around the world, touring the USA, UK, Holland, Spain, Switzerland, Germany and more... During this time Matteo Giannetti replaced Sasso Battaglia on bass. Marco Di Maggio was praised as one of the greatest guitar player all over the world
The Di Maggio Bros. please the audience performing a various set ranging from Western Swing/Hillbilly to pure Rockabilly, with strong vocals harmonies, a powerfull slappin' bass and a superpickin' guitar work. Listening to the D.M.B. you can find influences from Elvis vocals style and country vocals harmonies, to great fingerpicking guitar licks, Les Paul and Chet Atkins style. They perform a lots of self-penned numbers as "Sad & Blue", "Groupy Baby" or the manic pickin' instrumentals "High Speed Picking" and "Superpickin' Polka" (see the video clip above, recorded live).

The Trio plays an explosive cocktail of guitar and vocal styles
such as: Western Swingabilly, Honky-Tonk, Bluegrass, Instrumental
Surf, Jazz-Blues, authentic and neo-Rockabilly, genres learned by
Marco during his brilliant career. During the show, Marco and his band play
instrumental songs of Chet Atkins, Danny Gatton, Cliff Gallup,
Paul Burlison, Eddie Cochran and Brian Setzer, arranged in his
personal style, besides many original songs and compositions.
DI MAGGIO BROS. BAND this bans join the
authentic Rockabilly with Country/Hillbilly and the Western
Swing, melting the 50's music style with the the today's style.
The the amazing vocal harmonies of Massimo and Marco Di Maggio,
are the main features of this band.

& THE SUPERSONIC ORCHESTRA, If yor fond od music
style like Swing, Surf, Rhythm'n'Blues, Rock'n'Roll you will
enjoy of listening the typical sound-tack of the spy-movies. A
seven pieces orchestra, swingin' and rocking the audience with
various sets, ranging from old style swing, rockabilly, surf and
a sort of "Investigating Bop".
THE ACOUSTICATS, Country/Jazz and
Acoustic Rockabilly trio, based on the unplugged version of the
MDM Rockabilly trio.
THE THUNDER TWINS, Quartet formed by Marco
Di Maggio, Simone Di Maggio, Daniele Torrini and Lorenzo
Cotrozzi. Dynamite Neorockabilly/Power Surf sound with the twin
Guitars of Marco and Simone.
THE DI MAGGIO CONNECTION (Nuovo
cd in uscita!) The new project is based on a repertoire composed
by original cuts in Neorockabilly/Surf/R'n'R style with a touch
of Neo Swing. The trio features Greg on track
n.9 and the album "The Wildest Game" was just
published. Also avalaible very soon, the videoclip with the song
"Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" Rockabilly version.
DAVIDE
MASTRANGELO & MARCO DI MAGGIO, from the meeting
between Davide, (great fingerstyle guitar player) and Marco: the
duet melt the acoustic and the elctric sounds for a crossover of
Country, Boogie, Blues and Rockabilly. Workshops are possible on
request.
