TOLO MARTON TRIO (ITA) |
"After having hear him playing, I have returned to see him every time that it was possible", so the journalist Sharon Jones writes about Tolo on Austin Arena Magazine (Texas, April 1995).
Guitarist composer, Tolo Marton boasts of a career of 30 years within the music of British-American inspiration. He is one of the leader of the music live of the Italian scene.
He was defined as "the most intelligent and gifted rock guitarist that Italy has ever had" (Paolo Vites,Jam,dic 1999)
In America he was rewarded from the father of Jimi Hendrix, the greatest genius of the electric guitar ever existed.
He is considered as the Italian guitarist is with more class, a musician that never repeats himself.

Repertoire |
The style: CLASSIC ROCK. The style and the repertoire of Tolo Marton are founded on original songs. Themes and sonority take back that link to the sound, interrupted from the record label in the beginning of the seventies, that changed the face to the rock music. Any nostalgia but new solutions, improvisations without limits, long Jam-session and interplay between the musicians.
the logical following step is to rewrite and play some covers, not only of Hendrix, where differet music styles , travel in a long trip. Tolo Marton giutar is not predictable and it is difficult to know what he is able to invent. Maybe an invitation to close the eyes and see with the ears...
