Detour International Country Rock Duo Band

La band si e’ formata nel 1986 sul talento vocale di NATALIE SHELAR, il gusto la tecnica polistrumentista di JEAN MARIE PESCHIUTTA e la raffinata ma potente sezione ritmica.

Grande la varieta’ di generi in repertorio: country, americana, roots-rock, honky tonk, blues, western swing e bluegrass.

Lo stile dei DETOUR e’ paragonato talvolta a quello dei piu’ noti STEVE EARLE, KEITH URBAN, VINCE GILL, JOHN HIATT, ALLISON MOORER, LUCINDA WILLIAMS. 

Festival e collaborazioni

Tra i festival bluegrass e country vanno ricordati TORINO , Folkest, CRAPONNE, NIEDERBRON, TREVILLERS, MIRANDE , (FRANCIA)  , BAD ISCHL (AUSTRIA), BALVE HOHLE JAZZFESTIVAL, MARLBORO fest. (GERMANIA), THONDER fest (DANIMARCA), MILL MOUTAIN fest., GRONINGEN fest. (OLANDA), Intern. Country Festival di MELIDE , LES DIABLERETS (SVIZZERA), CEREHEXE (Belgio) etc.

Natalie e Jean Marie hanno condiviso palco con noti artisti americani di country music tra cui Vince Gill, Rosie Flores, Bill Monroe, Albert Lee, Carl Perkins, Asleep at the wheel, Dale Watson, Radney Foster  e  JOHN CARTER CASH, figlio del mitico Johnny Cash.

I due hanno anche una notevole esperienza e fama nell’ambito bluegrass avendo partecipato ai gruppi internazionali come BLUEGRASS RENDEZVOUS, FREEWHELIN e TURQUOISE con cui hanno effettuato, 2 tour in USA e partecipato a due edizioni della nota trasmissione televisiva D.O.C. su RAI 2 nel 1988 e nel 1989 (Renzo Arbore).
